The basketball legend lost his life in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, alongside his daughter and seven others.
The post-mortem report of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter has been released. Recalled that on January 28, 2020, the cause of death for all nine victims was ruled as blunt trauma. The new examination, a detailed 180-page report while retaining its previous result also shown that the pilot of the helicopter Ara Zoboyan tested negative for drugs and alcohol.

The disaster which occurred in California had Alyssa Altobelli, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Christina Mauser all died alongside the Kobe Bryant and daughter Giannis and pilot Ara Zobayan were on their way to a tournament in Thousand Oaks before the helicopter crashed into a hill just north of Los Angeles.

Kobe Bryant was a five time NBA champion representing Los Angeles Lakers throughout his career.
