Celtic have benefited from the cancellation of the Scottish Premiership by landing her 51st league title.
Scottish Premiership board met today to bring an end to top flight game in Scotland and declared Celtic the winner while confirming Hearts for relegation.
For the Bhoyz, it’s their ninth league title in a row while Hearts will feel bitter dropping down to second tier for second in six years.
The league which has been halted since March sees Celtic on 80 points after 30 games and followed by arch rivals Rangers in second place.
Hearts at the last end of the table had 23 points from 30 games.
The points per game method was used to determine the champion and relegated team just like it was used in the second to the fourth tier of Scottish football.
