Chelsea football club Manager, Frank Lampard is keen on signing FC Porto star, Jesús Manuel Corona.

According to the winger’s agent, Chelsea scouts have identified Corona as another alternative, should they miss out on Jadon Sancho who Borussia Dortmund are not willing to sell for anything less than £100million.

Corona is a Gold Cup winner with Mexico (2015) and a Portuguese champion with Porto (2017/18). He would also bring more winning mentality to a young Chelsea side while adding some much-needed depth on the flanks.

The Mexican started his career in his homeland with Monterrey before joining Dutch side FC Twente in 2013. He scored 11 goals in 46 appearances for the Dutch side.

After two seasons with them, Porto managed to snap him up for less than £10million.

He has been capped 42 times by Mexico, scoring seven goals.

The 27-year-old can play as a winger and also as right back.
