The 24-year old has agreed a deal with the London club.
Chelsea has pulled a trick by agreeing a deal in principle with RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
Liverpool looked like a destination for Werner after been heavily linked with the Reds, but he might be on his way to Chelsea if reports are anything to go by.
Werner who had previously expressed his interest in joining Liverpool, will possibly be a Blues player from next season after agreeing a five-year deal.
The former VFB Stuttgart forward has a release clause of £52m and Chelsea is expected to activate the contract before June 15 expiration date.
Werner is set to earn £9
million plus per season.
