Sky Sports Italy understands the one time Golden Boy sent his club an email last night informing them of his intentions to return to training, as preparations continue for the resumption of the Serie A season on June 20.
Once upon a time, Mario Balotelli was the next big thing to happen in football. His football career has been disrupted by his attitude not towards work but towards the administrators and coaches.
He’s either caught having an off the field issues with the club officials or even flouting government rules and it has never had a good impact on his career. The promising career of Super Mario had become just that of an average player all because of arrogance.
Mario Balotelli’s time at Brescia began last summer when he returned to his hometown club, who had won promotion after 8 years in Serie B.
Brescia however, have been reported to have told Balotelli they did not get the email until this morning and had not scheduled a plan for him to train time at the facility.
As Balotelli walked away, after a brief conversation with the club officials, he is reported to have said to the media, ” Now say that I don’t want to train .
Balotelli signed a three-year-deal at the club last summer, could now return to training on Wednesday.
So far this season, the Italian-Ghanian footballer has found the back of the net on five occasions in 19 appearances since signing for his boyhood club.
Brescia return to league action after the league was forced to go on break due to the pandemic on June 22 against Frank Ribery’s side Fiorentina.
