Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho’s life at Leicester City didn’t start the way he wanted not until this season when Ivorian legend Kolo intervened.

Kolo Toure who is the assistant coach of Leicester City, developed interest to make Kelechi Iheanacho’s career come alive again because the young Nigerian was on his way out (temporarily) of Leicester.

Kelechi Iheanacho was primed to do great things in the world of football after the 2013 FIFA U-17 Men’s World Cup in UAE. He began his life to professional football on a blistering note at Manchester City under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini. He was even a main stay in the Super Eagles team from 2015 until 2017.

In 2018, things started to become very bad for the former CAF Young Player Of The Year as he became a bench warmer, even sometimes he doesn’t make the matchday squad. He was abused on social media by Nigerians and those who tipped him to do wonders. From being among the most sought after young lads in football, he became just a normal player at the King Power Stadium.

Kolo Toure came to his aid by organizing private training drills for the 2013 FIFA U-17 Men’s World Cup Best Player and he ( Kolo Toure) told him that he can be the best in the world if he focuses on his strength than his weakness.

The former Liverpool and Arsenal defender told Kelechi that he’s been among his fans since their days at Manchester City while they were team mates for two years and he’s aware of he’s abundant qualities. Rather than leaving, he should fight for a spot.

All things being equal, Kelechi’s revival began and he’s been rewarding the faith that his coach has in him despite playing second fiddle to English man, Jamie Vardy. He’d be looking forward to the project restart in other to continue his hot steak of form.
