Napoli booked their place in the final of the Coppa Italia against Juventus after a thrilling 1-1 draw against Inter Milan.The Coppa Italia returned on Friday after being suspended since March because of the COVID-19 pandemic with Juventus playing out a goaless encounter in the second leg of the Italian cup against AC Milan with Cristiano Ronaldo missing a penalty.

It was enough for the Old Lady to book a place in the final after 1-1 first leg draw in Milan.
Milan city rivals, Inter couldn’t progress as well despite taking the lead as early as the second minute.

Trailing by 1-0 from the first leg, the Nerrazurri took the lead via a Christian Eriksen goal directly scored from the corner kick. Napoli responded in the 41st minute through Dries Marteens. Marteens goal was enough to seal a place in the final for the Gli Azzurri as they won 2-1 on aggregate.
With the goal, Marteens has now become the highest goalscorer ever in Napoli history with 122 goals. He was previously tied with Marek Hamsik on 121 goals.

It’s the 73rd edition of the Coppa Italia . Juventus has 13 Coppa Italia titles while Napoli has 4.

The final of the Coppa Italia will be played on Wednesday, June 17 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
