Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is going to be facing a possible charge and ban from the English football authority following his Clash with Brighton’s striker Neal Murpay.

FA chiefs are waiting to see whether the row is included in referee Atkinson’s report before deciding if they will take action. Under the FA’s fast track process, Guendouzi could even be banned before Thursday’s game.

The incident occurred in yesterday’s defeat to the relegation threatened Brighton at the Amex stadium immediately after the final whistle. Guendouzi appeared to grab Neal Murpay on the throat following some exchange of words with the French striker.

Guendouzi always seems to have displinary issues in his young career so far, He was ones suspended from playing by his former club Lorient for a misunderstanding with the coach. Guendouzi was also some time ago dropped from Arsenal’s match day squad by Mikel Arteta following his bad attitude in Arsenal’s Dubai warm weather training few months ago.

It remains to be seen what the actual punishment will be at this moment, but there is a possibility of a certain fine and two match ban from the FA. His ban will certainly be a big blow to Arsenal who has already been strucked by injuries to key players including Granit Xhaka, Pablo Mari and goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Neal Murphy who scored the winning goal at the 95th minute believed Arsenal players lack humility and claimed the London team got ‘what they deserved’

Brighton defeated Arsenal last year with the same scoreline at the Emirate stadium, Maupay Neal was the man that caused the havoc last year with an assist from Mooy Aaron.
