Arsenal Striker Aubameyang, scored twice as the London side defeat Norwich by Four goals to nothing at the Emirates stadium. The Gabonese is now the quickest player to achieve the feat of 50 premier League goals in Arsenal’s history.
The first goal came in the first half after the striker closed down Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul, to force a mistake from him to tap into an unguarded net. A misplaced pass from the Norwich defender in the second half gave him the brave of the night. The first goal puts him ahead of the club’s legend and all time goalscorer Thiery Henry in terms of the fastest.
Aubameyang reached the 50 Premier league goals mark in his 79th appearance in the competition while Arsenal legend Thiery Henry got to the 50 mark in his 83rd appearance in the competition. The 31-year-old is now the sixth fastest player to reach the 50 goals magin in Premier league history. He currently tops the goal scoring chat in the Premier league with 19 goals, same as Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
The former Borussia Dortmund goal getter joined Arsenal in 2018 January transfer window, and was Arsene Wenger’s last signing for the club before the legendary Boss departed the North London club.
