Super Eagles and on loan Galatasaray forward, Henry Onyekuru will return to his parent club Monaco, after completing a loan spell with the Turkish giants.

The 23-year-old joined Galatasaray on a six-month deal in January. He featured 11 times for Galatasaray this season, scoring once and made one assist.

The Onitsha born winger started his football at Aspire Academy at the age of 13 and spent five years at the Doha-based facility before joining KAS Eupen. Scoring 30 goals in 60 appearances in all competitions in two seasons for the Belgian side.

He signed for Everton from KAS Eupen for £8million in 2017 but due to the necesssary paperwork to play, he went abroad on loan, he scored 23 goals in two years with Anderlecht and Galatasaray before joining Monaco on a permanent basis.

Onyekuru struggled for game time under former Monaco boss Leonard Jardim, however, the arrival of Spanish new coach, Robert Moreno could help him relaunch his career at the club.

According to a Nigerian outlet, the former Spain coach rates the 23-year-old Onyekuru highly and the club is believed to have reserved the no.7 shirt for the Nigerian.
