Barcelona legend and Holland manager Ronald Koeman was spotted moving into a new appartement in Barcelona, with pressure mounting on the current Barcelona’s coach Quique Setien.

The 57-year-old boss was linked with the hot seat at the Catalan giants when Ernesto Valverde was dismissed back in January.

Barcelona appointed Quique Setien as manager but the recent results put him under pressure.

Ronald Koeman, who revealed earlier this month that he turned down offers from the Catalans giants in January, was seen moving to a home in the Spanish city this week.

‘I had a call from Barcelona, but I wanted to keep my words and manage the Netherlands in the European Championship,’ he told Catalunya Radio, reported via Marca.

I have the possibility to leave after the tournament, but now is not the time to think about that.

‘Everyone knows it’s my dream to manage Barcelona, and I hope to have another chance in future”

Setien has come under immense pressure of late and has called for unity at the Camp Nou amid mounting reports that he has lost the confidence of his players.

The pressure intensified after Barcelona were held to a 2-2 draw by Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, days after they were also held to a 2-2 draw by Celta vigo Courtesy of Iago Aspas late equalizer.

Koeman underwent a heart procedure in Amsterdam in May. He was rushed to hospital with chest complaints and underwent cardiac catheterisation, spending the night in hospital before returning home the next day.

If it wasn’t for the COVID-19 pandemic it’s very likely that he would have left Holland after EURO 2020 and taken over at the Nou Camp, so it will be interesting to see what happens next.

If reports that OJBSPORT as gathered are true, there’s no way Setien will stay on for another year, but Koeman would either need to pull a double duty for club and country or he would need to give up on EURO 2021.
