Le10Sport ( A Frrench Sporting Outlet ) are reporting that Carlo Ancelotti has enlisted Chelsea’s French defender Kurt Zouma, as a prime target for the Toffees as Everton are looking forward boost their defensive ranks this summer.
The Evertonians have chosen Zouma as the man to out an upgrade to their defence after moves for other targets weren’t feasible, Leicester are also keen to battle Everton for the 25-year-old.
Zouma has a contract with the blues until 2023, he’s not a new man at Merseyside as he spent the 2018/2019 season on loan with Everton. He racked up 36 appearances for the Toffees before returning to his parent club Chelsea at the end of the campaign, though they wanted to sign the ace permanently then.
It reported that the Blues valuation of Kurt Zouma is nothing less than €30m, which seems ok the high side, but the Pride Of London are specialist in getting what they bargained for when it comes to sales.
Since the start of the campaign, Zouma has become a mainstay in the team. With him playing a major role for Super Frankie’s lads, with the premier league winner appearing 34 times this season.
Kurt showed potential when he arrived and he’s been decent during the campaign, there’s much improvement in his game unlike when he was still a little boy with raw talent that arrived from Saint-Etienne many years back, the Chelsea no 15 always gives the football game his all and is very physical.
He’d be a great signing for Carlo’s side as his physical attributes and brilliant strength with his growing understanding of defending is fantastic.
The Blue Men of Merseyside have just three senior team centre-backs at the moment with Michael Keane, Mason Holgate and Yerry Mina.
Keane is a ball-playing defender, Holgate is of the all-around modern kind of defender who can even play in the right back position and Mina is similar to Zouma in the sense that he’s purely focused on defending with the Colombian being the side’s biggest physical presence at the back.
