Nigeria International and Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho, scored his 10th goal of the season in all competitions in “The Foxes” win over Crystal Palace.
The striker has endured a frustrating season at the King power stadium as he has been given limited playing opportunity. Iheanacho has been made to play second fiddle to Leicester City’s main striker Jamie Vardy. The Nigerian born striker has mainly featured in Cup games this season and has mostly been kept on the bench in the league games in other to accommodate Vardy who is the league top scorer.
Despite not featuring in games as much as he would have loved Kelechi has always proved that he hasn’t lost his finishing touches in front of goal when given the opportunity to play.
The Taye academy product started the game against Crystal Palace today along side Jamie Vardy in the attack for Leicester and was on the score sheet as Leicester see out in Crystal Palace at King’s Power stadium in their Premier league encounter. He scored a good tap in after a wonderful cross in front of goal by Tielemans in the 49th minute of the game. Iheanacho was later substituted on the 64th minute of the game by Belgium’s Denis Paret.
Kelechi’s number of goals are really impressive considering the number of minutes he has played. The striker will be hoping to find the back of the net more in the remaining few games before the end of the current season.
