Manchester City’s midfield mastero David Silva is celebrating his 10-years anniversary at the club.

The 2010 world Cup winner joined Manchester City from Spanish club Valencia in the summer of 2010 for a reported fee of 21million pounds.

Silva went on to establish himself as one of the fans favourite at the Etihad stadium and has consistently over the years wowed the fans with his impressive performance in the middle of the park. He was named the club’s captain last summer following the departure of Vincent Kompany to join Belgium club Anderlecht.

“El Mago” as he is being referred to by his team mates has played a total of 431 games for the blue side of Manchester. He has scored 76 goals and made 139 assists in all competitions for the club so far averaging 10+ assists per season. Silva has won four premier league titles, two FA Cups, five league cups and the community shield three times in a trophy raining career in England.

The former Valencia man announced at the end begging of the season that he would be going back to home country Spain at the end of the current campaign, but his contributions to the Manchester club over his 10years spell with the club will never be underestimated. He would be remembered as a club Legend and one the greatest player in the club’s history.
