Lille and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has parted ways with his agent.

The 21-year-old goal poacher who has been in the news lately, had a disagreement with his old agents (Jean-Gerard Benoit Czajka/ Didier Frenay ) and has now entrusted himself to a new agent under the direction of Lille president Gerard Lopez.

According to a reliable source, the agent had put personal interest before anything else in his dealings with Napoli. This has been the major reason behind the stalled deal between Victor Osimhen and the Partenopei.

It would be recalled that the Lille striker had arrived Napoli to sign a deal rumored to be within the region of €70 million.

The deadlock in the proposed switch to Napoli and the perceived lack of trust made Osimhen align with a new agent.

His new agent, William D’avilla who currently manages Emmanuel Dennis (Club Brugge), Moses Simon (Nantes), Samuel Kalu (Bordeaux) among others was recommended by Lille president Gerard Lopez.

A very experienced football agent, William D’avilla was involved in the transfer of Victor Osimhen from Charleroi to Lille. This no doubt will open a new chapter in the intriguing twist to the proposed transfer of one of Nigeria’s hottest football exports.
