Italian Serie A giant Inter Milan, are preparing a move for Manchester United in-form forward Anthony Martial, according to reports.
The move is said to be a player-plus-cash swap deal for the French international. With the Red Devils keenly interested in signing the Nerazurri defender Martin Skriniar. in a bid to bolster their defensive ranks.
Inter Milan are now looking at the possibility of involving Skriniar in the deal plus cash, which will see the aforementioned Croatian defender head to Old-Trafford, in exchange for Anthony Martial. All of this permutations are subject to Manchester United agreeing the move.
With Anthony Martial recent form, and with the team Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is building, letting-go Anthony Martial may not be ideal, it could disrupt the team and momentum. This Summer is set to be one of the shortest in English football, letting-go Martial will necessitate them to get a like for like, or probably a better replacement, which could be tricky for Manchester United.
The French International has been in a fine scoring form, since the restart of the English Premier League, scoring a goal crucial goal in their most recent game, against Southampton, at the Old-trafford. Martial has also netted an Hat-trick this season. Martial has been involved in 29 goals for Manchester United this season from 41 appearances, scoring 21 and providing 8 clinical assist.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan who has two Manchester United player in their fold, are aware about Manchester United Lukewarmness to agree such a deal, but with claims from Calciomercato they hope to persuade Manchester United to proceed with negotiation for the Swap-deal.
Inter are aware that United would be reluctant to sell the 24-year-old off the back of the most prolific season of his career, but Calciomercato claims that they hope to tempt the Red Devils to the negotiating table by including a player they want in return.
Skiriniar has been linked with a couple of English club lately, leaving Inter Milan with no choice than to cash in on the player.
Anthony Martial is valed at £63m, while the Croatian defender Skriniar is valued at £58m, which means both parties will have to make-up a £5m difference in cash as part of the agreement.
Inter Milan will travel to face SPAL in Thursday Italian Serie A fixture. While the team in-form Manchester United will head to the Selhurst park to face bogey Crystal Palace side, as they aim to seal a top-four finish.
