Super Eagles forward Paul Onachu will resume training with his club RKC Genk tommorow after recovering from coronavirus.
Onachu tested positive for COVID-19 when he came to Nigeria to attend the burial of Victor Osimhen’s father and has been on quarantine for the past seven days.
A new round of test has however revealed that the former Midjtyland striker has fully recovered and is set to return to training on Friday.
Genk coach Hannes Wolf confirmed Onachu reuniting with teammates tomorrow.
“Friday he will just train with the group”, Wolf said. “Paul can also compete against Excelsior on Friday in the exhibition match.
“The other players and the rest of the entourage also tested negative.”
