Chelsea’s Head Coach Frank Lampard, is ready to do a swap deal with West Ham in a bid to get Declan Rice to the Stamford Bridge.

The London team already secured two wonderful players that’d be a part of the Blues family next season and they’re still looking forward to do more business.

The Hammers midfielder who can also play as a center half was released by the Blues in 2014 while he was in the academy, but as it stands now he’s been wanted at the Stamford Bridge.

Since becoming a Senior Hammer , he’s been influential and his great display of talent has paid off with him getting invited to the English National team by Gareth Southgate.

Super Frankie desires to beef up his defense line with quality signings as the defensive frailties has cost them on several outings this term. And he’s turned to Declan Rice to slove his broken defensive wall.b

Chelsea are willing to offer English Man Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Michy Batshuayi to West Ham in other to secure Rice’s deal, Football Insider reported.

It is so surprising to see things change so fast as Fikayo was a regular for the blues earlier in the season, not forgetting that Tomori and Frank Lampard were both at Derby County in the English championship last season but he seems to have fallen out of favour in the second stanza of the season despite having a flawless start to his senior career in a Blues shirt.

French man Kurt Zouma wasn’t one of the two starting center backs as he was behind Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, but he was given the opportunity to impress. Though he has had some good games under his belt, he has also been involved in some ridiculous defending and that’s a big concern for Frank Lampard.

Before Batshuayi came to Chelsea, he was regarded as one of the finest attackers in the French ligue 1 but tides have changed in Chelsea for him as he’s not regarded as one who’s worthy to be in a blue shirt. It was so evident that the Belgian would be leave the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, due to the fact he was been left out of the team during the break where he didn’t make an inter-squad clash before the restart.

Chris Sutton who once played for Chelsea as a striker feels that the Blues have not finished their business yet as they need to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga if they’re to be considered title challengers next season.

While he was asked what the positives has been for Chelsea this season,Sutton told Stadium Astro

“The likes of [Mason] Mount coming to the fore, Tammy Abraham coming to the fore, they’ve now done some good business with [Hakim] Ziyech and [Timo] Werner, so things are looking up.

But they need to do some more business as well.

“I think the goalkeeper is a massive issue and defensively they’ve conceded two many goals.

“Frank will know that but there’s no point worrying about that at this moment in time.

“Get over the line, get a Champions League spot, you know the riches which come from the Champions League and the finance which comes with that, and then he can address all these issues once the season finishes.”
