With the English Premier League all settled, European places is up for grabs between three teams who looks to qualify for the prestigious UEFA champions league. Chelsea most likely should finish third, as Manchester United and Leicester City slug things out for the fourth place.

Chelsea started pretty well, after the restart of football in England, amassing enough points to ensure they seal that UCL spot. The Blues are third on the log with 63 points, just a point ahead of Leicester City and Manchester United, who are level on points. With the calibre of teams, the Blues have to play, they should be able to navigate their way to getting 4 or maximum 6 points from those games.

Barring any slip from Frank Lampard’s side, they are already in the UEFA Champions League for next season. Players like Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud, Willian and some others have led the fight-back for Chelsea. The reborn Olivier Giroud taking up the goalscoring responsibility. The World Cup winner has been in hot form coupled with Captain America Crisrian Pulisic.

Lampard’s first season in the UEFA Champions League will definitely attract attention from soccer loverls globally, everyone want to see how the Ex-england international will led Chelsea into the competition.

They have sealed deals for Ajax and Morrocan international, Hakim Ziyech, German International Timo Werner. This aforementioned duo, are definitely massive attacking swoop for Chelsea football club, ahead of next season. Meanwhile the Blues are also looking to sign, Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz to further bolster their attacking ranks. We keep fingers crossed to see how Chelsea will fare next season, after sealing a CL spot.

Manchester United

The Red Devils have their selves to blame, if they fail to make the Top-four after failing to seal a win, in a dramatic 2-2 against Southampton at the St Mary’s. That win would have put them ahead of Leicester City.

Which ever way, fellow CL spot rivals Leicester City are struggling, most especially their 3-0 scandalous loss to Tottenham Hotspur, paving way for Manchester United to capitalize. The top-four race, is still wide open, as the Red devils still have two more games to play before the end of the season, with the final showdown against Leicester City.

Manchester are the team in top form after covid 19, and will be in second position in the post covid 19 table. Bruno Fernandes arrival came at the right time and he has orchestrate and lead the battle for the Red Devils. The Portuguese, Paul Labile Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are all exciting to watch with the emergence of wonderkid Mason Greenwood.

Leicester City

They are the architect of their own misfortune, shambolic season restart display, how the let the gigantic lead at third place slip, is quite disheartening, at some point they were at loggerheads with Manchester City for the second place spot, now they are fighting for a fourth place finish, change of fortune.

Leicester City blew it up and made the Top 4 race interesting and wide open with their poor post covid 19 form. Brendan Rodgers team must be cursing their luck after slipping off the EPL ladder with injuries to key players like James Maddison, Ben Chillwell and Christian Fuchs who are all out till the end of the season.

Their 3-0 loss to Jose Mourinho Tottenham side added more insults to injury for them, they are now level on points and Goal-difference with Manchester United, with the latter having a game more. Which means if Manchester United beat West Ham United by 2 or more goals margin, Leicester City will have to beat the Red Devils with more goals, such a difficult task for Brendan Rodgers boys.

The English Premier League title race may have been decided, but the top four race is undecided, as it seems to be another title race for Leicester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. Fans of this clubs can’t wait to see how this unfold, United fans are hoping that Ole take them back to were they belong, fingers crossed.
