The Nigerian popularly known as Simy was on target twice in their 5-1 demolition of Livorno to secure an automatic ticket from Serie B yesterday.
Results went Crotone’s way after third place Spezia could only manage a draw at Cremonese.
They have 65 points from 36 matches with two games left to play.
They join league leaders Benevento to book a spot in the Serie A.
It has been a fruitful season for the 28-year-old who has banged in 21 goals in all competitions.
Simy’s double in Italy’s second tier league against Livorno was his 20th league goal of the season. He is presently the top scorer in the division.
Crotone’s promotion will see them featuring for the third time in the Italian top flight.
The Pythagoreans gained promotion for the 2016/2017 season, which was their first ever participation in Italy’s top flight league in her 110 years history.
