Brazilian international winger Willian Borges has rejected a new two years contract extension from Chelsea.
According to reports from @DiMarzio and @Guaurdian Willian has refused another bid from Chelsea to extend his contract after the club refused to meet his demands for a Three years deal. The former Shakhtar Donetsk man is set to become a free agent this summer if he ends up not renewing his contract with Frank Lampard’s men.
There has a reported interest from Arsenal for Willian and the Brazilian is willing to make a move to the club in other to remain in London where his family is very much settled. He was excluded from Chelsea’s playing squad in their FA Cup final lost to the Gunners last weekend and this has fuelled his imminent departure from the Stamford Bridge.
@DiMarzio also reported that Arsenal has already started negotiations with the representatives of the 31 years old skillful winger and are willing to meet his Three years contract demand, and as it stands at the moment Willian will be playing in the colours of Arsenal next season. There has been also been a muted interest from Barcelona and Juventus both clubs has not made an official approach for the winger.
