German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen are interested in signing Manchester United winger Tahiti Chong this was according to Weser- Kurier.

The Sporting director of Werder Bremen Frank Baumann said “Borrowing players from top clubs like this makes sense to us. Because of our situation, he’s a player who could be interesting”.

The 20-year-old Dutch winger have only played 34 minutes in the English Premiership and 227 minutes in the Europa League this season for the Red Devils.

Chong haven’t been able to break through in to the first team even though the Manchester United Reserve Manager Neil Wood highly rate the winger as a fantastic player in the reserve.

Chong was awarded Denzil Haroun Reserve player of the Year at the end of last season, he also signed a new contract in March this year with the Red Devils and it is expected to keep him at the club till 2022.

If the Premier League club sign Jadon Sancho, a loan move in search of first team football would suit Chong, with Bremen showing initial interest.
