The 29 years old star joined Arsenal three seasons ago from French club Olympic Lyon for a then club record fee of 52million pounds. He has been one of the key players for the club since he joined and has made over 100 appearances for the club in all competitions since his switch. His combination with fellow French born striker Aubameyang has always been a joy to watch for the North London club supporters. The pair also shares a very good relationship off the pitch which made their on the pitch combo very amazing. Though Lacazette has not always been a consistent goal scorer for the club but his all round contribution to team on the pitch and his ability to link up plays with his teammates are wonderful. This has also prompted the club’s head coach Mikel Arteta to move Aubameyang who is the more clinical infront of goal among the pair to the left flank in other to accommodate the French striker (Lacazette) in the starting eleven.
Arsenal wants an overhaul of the squad this summer and are going to listen to offers for so many members of the first team squad. Lacazette has just two years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates and the club is willing to cash in on the French man in other to strengthen other areas of the pitch and also move Aubameyang to a more central striker role next season.
Andre Pirlo who was recently appointed as the head coach of Juventus is eager to bring in a Striker for the Turin club this summer, and has identified Lacazette as one of his main targets. Talks are already on the way between the player’s representative and Juve as Lacazette will be open to a move to Italy this summer.
Arsenal will accept a fee of around 30millions pounds for the former Olympic Lyon man, so as to invest the funds in the strengthening of other departments of the team. Atletico Madrid has also been reported to be an admirer of the French man but at moment the Serie A champions (Juve) are the more serious side among the suitors.
