Italian giants Juventus are said to be interested in having Alexandre Lacazette as their player as from the upcoming season and they’re looking forward to do a swap plus cash deal with Arsenal in other to get his signature.

Alexandre Lacazette under Mikel Arteta at the Emirates was a rotational player not until the latter part of the season where he proved his worth and retained his place up until the final of the Emirates FA Cup. The French man has two years left on his existing deal but the club are willing to sell him off due to some financial issues the club is facing and being a fantastic player that he is, he’d would not be short of offers.

The club’s hierarchy have made it known that the team’s wage bill must be reduced this summer making Lacazette who earns about £180,000 per week join the list of those players who could leave the Emirates this summer.

The Athletic reported that, the Old Ladies are happy about the situation of Alexandre Lacazette and want to take advantage of it by offering either of Gonzalo Higuain, Douglas Costa or Cristian Romero in an exchange for the former Lyon star.

The Scudetto Holders are in need of quality players up front to help reduce the work load on Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala next term as Douglas Costa and Gonzalo Hugain have been deemed surplus to requirement despite their quality.

Arsenal are moving for Higuain, who would turn 33 in December seems unlikely considering the Argentine’s age and his high wages.

The Argentine forward is running the final year of his contract at the Allianz Stadium making clubs to wait for when he becomes a Free Agent.

Brazilian winger Douglas Costa, is another option for the Gunners. He has been previously linked with Manchester United, he’s a more enticing offer when it comes to the swap deal. One problem that might hinder the move is that Mikel Arteta has a pool of wingers at the club so a move for the 29 year old might not happen.

And finally Argentine youngster Cristian Romero.
A move for Cristian Romero is likely to provide solution to some of Arteta’s defensive woes. Considering his age (22 years old) and potential, Romero is seen as the most likely option for a swap deal, and he also fits into a position Arteta is eager to build.

He was sent out on loan last term to Serie A side Genoa, as there was no space in the squad due to the presence of Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Matthjis de Ligt and Merih Demiral in the first team of Juventus.

While playing under Arteta, the Arsenal number nine has scored 10 goals this season and turned provider four times in what is been regarded as an underwhelming campaign for the french man himself.

Alex is not the only one who could be moving towards the exit door at the Emirates this summer.
Arsenal have Hector Bellerin, Sokratis, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sead Kolasinac, as well as Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding on their list of transferrable players in this window.

The North London side are also willing to sell Mesut Ozil, but their hopes of shipping the Turkish-Germany playmaker out of Arsenal has proved abortive. His £350,000-a-week salary seems to send off suitors as he’d not want a pay cut and then his agent has reiterated that Mesut Ozil would see out the final season of his contract.
