Since the 2019/20 NBA season- restart, many attention was thwarted towards, team that could possibly seal a play-off berth. Meanwhile, teams like the New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, had little or nothing to play for, with huge games margin.

Portland Trail Blazers had a tough battle to ensure they make the play-offs, with closest rival Memphis also in contention.

The Blazers kick-started the season with a win that proved to be vital over Memphis Grizzlies in Over-time. As they now meet in a play-in game, that would reveal the team to face LA Lakers in the play-offs.

Memphis Grizzlies entered Orlando with a 3.5 game lead over the Blazers, but won only two of their eight seeding games. Portland, meanwhile, went 6-2 at Disney World, including a 140-135 overtime victory against Memphis to kick things off. The Grizzlies will be without Jaren Jackson Jr. who scored 33 points against Portland in that game.

The Grizzlies had a big chance to secure the eighth seed had Portland lost Thursday night to Brooklyn. The Blazers won 134-133.

That requires defeating the Blazers twice this weekend, rather than taking down Phoenix once had Portland lost to the Nets or the Grizzlies defeated Portland two weeks ago.
Now, Jenkins is hopeful that the second and third times facing Portland at the bubble both prove to be charms for the Grizzlies.

Memphis must win twice to advance to the NBA playoffs, while Portland needs to defeat the Grizzlies only once.
