Liverpool are not willing to pay the asking price of €30 million fee demanded by Bayern Munich this is according to Fabrizio Romano of The Guardian.

The English League Champions absolutely wants to sign Thiago Alcantara but the asking price is now becoming a stumbling block.

Bayern Munich are currently in the Champions League which means any deals concerning Alcantara will be done after the competition.

Bayern Munich will be playing their Champions League semi final game gainst Lyon on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old Spanish midfielder has one year remaining with the Bundesliga Champions, if he doesn’t leave this summer, he will be a free to sign a pre contract with any club in January.

Bayern Munich aren’t willing to let the Spaniard to go but won’t be blocking him leaving if any club comes with the fee demanded.

Thiago Alcantara is keen on joining Liverpool because he loves the style of play Jurgen Klopp team.

The 29-year-old have been in Bayern Munich since 2013, making 150 Bundesliga appearance and scoring 17 goals.
