Defending Champions Toronto Raptors kick-starts their play-offs with a superb 134 – 110 win over Brooklyn Nets who struggled from outside the arc, converting just 31% of 3-pointer attempts.
Fred VanVleet had a good game, scoring a double double, while finishing with most points in the game, 30 points 11 rebounds. Fred was so exceptional with his three-pointer attempts, scoring 8/10 attempts, in 39 minutes.
Veteran Serge Ibaka added 22 points for the Raptors, while Pascal Siakam (Double Double) scored 18 points 11 rebounds. Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol and OG Anunoby all scored 16, 13 and 12 points respectively.

Vintage Jaylen Brown and Jayson Taytum help Boston Celtics beat the Sixers 109 – 101 in the first game of the Series played in Orlando, at the early hours of today.
Jayson Tatum was pivotal to the Celtics win, with impressive performance on both ends, on the offensive, the guard scored 30 points 12 rebounds, while on the defense he made 3 crucial blocks for his side. Tatum scored 10 of 11 free-throws attempts, playing 41 minutes in the game.
Jaylen Brown who was on court for 39 mins, had 29 points.
Joel Embiid scored most points for the Sixers, banging in a double double, 26 points 16 rebounds.
Denver Nuggets 135 – 125 Utah Jazz (1-0 Series)
Donovan Mitchel netted 57 points for Utah Jazz, who still fell 135 – 125 to Denver Nuggets, in the first game of the series, Jamal Murray’s 39 points proved handful for the Nuggets.
NIkola Jokic added a double double for the Nuggets, scoring 29 points 10 rebounds. Jeremy Grant followed by 19 points.
