Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Benfica of Portugal defender Tyronne Ebuehi has joined the Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente on loan till the end of the season.,OJB Sport reports.
Born in Haarlem in Netherlands, Ebuehi switched allegiance to Nigeria’s Super Eagles after representing Dutch junior teams.
In the summer of 2018, Tyronne Ebuehi made the switch from ADO Den Haag to Benfica after playing Nigeria at Russia 2018 World Cup.
Ebuehi expressed his excitement concerning the move and hope to deliver for the club.
“It feels great to be here at FC Twente. The conversations I had with the club were very positive and I am looking forward to playing here.
In the past I played against FC Twente with ADO. Twente is a big club and I want to prove myself here, but of course also help the club. “
