Belgian giant RSC Anderlecht are not giving up on landing in form Nigeria and Valmiera FC striker Emmanuel Toluwalase Arokodare, but the Latvian side are not willing to let him go.
Anderlecht’s interest in Arokodare – who is only 19- year-old dates back to mid-July. Sadly for Sporting, he hasn’t stopped scoring since then; 15 goals in 15 game, so far this season . The Vincent Kompany’s side are not the only club interested in signing the Box to Box academy player.
Clubs from Czechoslovakia, Germany and France all have their sights on the red-hot striker. Slavia Prague already made an offer, as did French and German clubs. But for Valmiera, the lanky striker is not for sale. And Anderlecht don’t have the financial means to make an offer not to be refused.
The fact that Anderlecht are still looking for a center-forward means that the club do not want to put all the pressure on the shoulders of Dimata (injured for 18 months) and Colassin (lack of experience).
