Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says he can’t see David Alaba leaving the club this summer.

David Alaba currently have one year remaining on his contract with Bayern, the Austrian have been stalling to extend his contract, but Rummenigge remains confident on Alaba staying at the Alianz arena.

Rummenigge told Blid “I really can’t imagine that David would want to leave FC Bayern. We are very interested in him staying, and I think he feels comfortable at FC Bayern as well. We had another conversation with his agent in Portugal, and it basically went well.

After Bayern’s Champions League final victory over Paris Saint-Germain, Alaba was “really high-spirited, and I have rarely seen someone as happy as he was,” said Rummenigge. 

David Alaba have been in Bayern Munich since 2010, The 28-year-old versatile player can play any position in defense and also in the midfield.

Alaba has made 386 appearances for Bayern Munich scoring 31 goals and racking 38 assist.

Alaba have won nine Bundesliga titles, six DFB pokal, one UEFA super cup, one World club cup and two Champions League with the German Champions.
