RB Leipzig have cool their interest in signing Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica, this is according to Blid.

Apparently “The Bull” team have come to accept that it will not be possible to sign the Kosovo international, who has also been linked with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton

Rashica is said to be keen on a move to Leipzig, but the two clubs have struggled to agree a fee. According to report, RB Leipzig had offered €15 million plus €3 million bonus which was then rejected by Bremen.

Werder Bremen are demanding at least €20 million plus add ons for the 24-year-old Kosovo attacker.

With Bremen already signed Rashica replacement “Tahith Chong” on loan from Manchester United, this means they have already planned life after Rashica.

RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff recently emphasized “If we have set a limit for what we are willing to pay in transfer fee and wages, we will stick to it.”

Having seemingly missed out on Rashica and AS Roma’s Patrik Schick, the Bundesliga side still want a striker and are reportedly showing interest in Alexander Sørloth (Trabzonspor, on loan from Crystal Palace) and Darwin Nunez (Almeria).

Currently, RB Leipzig priority now is to get a left back with report from Blid claming Leipzig want to make Anglenio loan deal from Manchester City into a permanent deal.
