Manchester United has reached an agreement to sign Netherlands International midfielder Donny Van de Beek from Ajax.

According to reports from @RomanoDimarzio the Red Devils has agreed to pay a transfer fee of 40 million pounds to sign the 23 year old midfielder, he will sign a five years contract until 2025.

Van de Beek came through the Ajax academy and has made over 118 appearances for the first team. He has won 10 caps for the Netherlands national team so far.

The Dutch born midfield mastero is a typical modern day midfielder who can play just behind the striker and also as a deep lying playmaker.

He has a magnificent technique and close ball control and has the ability to see a pass from long range. Van de Beek played a pivotal role as the attacking midfielder for Ajax in the 2018−19 season, starting almost every match in all competitions, as the team won their first league title in five years and surprisingly qualified for the semi-final of the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League.

He scored against Juventus on 16 April in the second leg of the quarter-final to help his team knock out the Italian champion with a 3–2 on aggregate.
