Premier League side Everton led by Carlo Ancelotti are set to experience a mass exodus of players out of Goodison Park and seven first team players are on the list of those that are surplus to requirement at the Merseyside club.
The Toffees would be willing to accept offers for seven players and out of them, there are about four big names on the list.
It’s said that Theo Walcott, Bernard, Fabian Delph, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Yannick Bolasie, Sandro Ramirez and Muhamed Besic are the players shortlisted for sale this summer by Ancelotti.
The four first team players on the list are:
Theo Walcott who joined Everton for £20million from Arsenal, he was a regular for the team last season. Brazilian winger Bernard who signed on a free from Shaktar Donesk, he’s been an integral part of the team.
English man Fabian Delph became an Evertonian for £9million and Icelandic midfielder Sigurdsson who was a big signing for £45million back in 2017 from Swansea is also on the list.
The three players left are returning back from loan, Yannick Bolasie was signed up for £25million, Sandro was a £5.2million signing, and signing Besic for £4million.
In total, that’s a mouth watering £108.2million for the seven players who came into Everton some years back and now they’re all set to leave on a cheap.
Money hasn’t been the problem of Everton, but spending in the right direction is their main issue. They’ve participating heavily in transfer market for Richarlison and Lucas Digne, time will tell if Alex Iwobi and some other recent signings will do good.
Yannick Bolasie, Sandro and Besic being on the list isn’t surprising as they’ve all spent most of their time as an Everton player away from the club on loan.
Seeing Walcott, Bernard and Sigurdsson who were important squad members st the club last term is shocking, but Carlo Ancelotti has done some good business this summer and it’s probably the reason for the summer clear out.
