Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara was tight-lipped on reports linking him with Liverpool and Manchester United after featuring in Spain’s 1-1 draw with Germany in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

Thiago Alcantara was speaking to ZDF, were he insisted that we want to focus on “nothing else” than Spain’s next game against Ukraine on Sunday. 

The 29-year-old midfielder went on by saying Bayern Munich is still his home and he is happy to be there.

When asked if he will be moving to Liverpool or Manchester United, Thiago had no comment and left the interview with a “Ciao”. 

Earlier this week, Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick was in an interview with Sport Blid were he reiterated that the Spanish midfielder is expected to leave. 

Flick said “I assume he will leave. We were completely focused on the Champions League, and his contract wasn’t an issue in the past few weeks. We haven’t had another conversation now, but I think his decision has been made.”

Thiago Alcantara have a year remaining on his contract with Bayern Munich and it seems Alcantara might be moving to England.

Alcantara was so exceptional last season and was so pivotal to Bayern Munich winning this year Champions League.

Bayern Munich are demanding a fee of €30 million for Alcantara as he is strongly linked to Liverpool and Manchester United.
