Nigeria’s Super Eagles and FC Porto Defender Chidozie Awaziem continue his European sojourn as he moved to another Portuguese Primera Liga side Boavista, OJB Sport reports.

Awaziem has been on the books of the Portuguese giant since 2014, he left El Kanemi Warrior of Maiduguri and made first team debut with the 2003 Champions League winner in January 2016.

After a successful loan spell with Nantes FC of France and Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor, Awaziem spent last season on loan with Spanish La Liga CD Leganes.

The 23-year-old resumed training with FC Porto on his return from Spanish La liga side Leganes. But seems he his not involved in Conceicao’s plan.

Boavista confirmed his capture on a year loan deal on Saturday afternoon ahead of the new season.

Since making his debut for Nigeria Super Eagles under Gernot Rohr Awaziem has been regular player with the National team.
