Angelino has agreed a deal in principle with RB Leipzig, they could re-sign the 23-year-old from Manchester City on loan with a purchase obligation in a transfer worth €20 million, according to Kicker.

The Spanish left back have been in Manchester city since 2014, he has spent much time been loaned out to other club (New York City FC, Girona, Mallorca, NAC Breda) so as to gain more playing time.

The Spaniard joined Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2018 signing a five-year deal, this only lasted for only a season as “The Citizen’s” re-sign the left-back from PSV for £5.3m in 2019 for a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old spent most time in first half of last season been on the bench and back up to Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko

The 23-year-old, spent the second half of last season on loan at Red Bull Arena, has agreed personal terms on a contract with RB Leipzig until 2025, as per the report. 

Leipzig and City are understood to be coming closer to a deal, with an agreement expected during this week.

Angelino played 18 games for RB Leipzig last season, scoring once and making five assists.
