Premier League side Crystal Palace have taken the lead in the race as to who signs Queens Park Rangers’ Anglo-Nigerian Winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

It is said that the South London side are the front runners in the race to sign the 22 year old after he turned down a new deal offered to him by QPR.

Osayi joined Queens Park Rangers from Blackpool in September 2017.

The Hoops Young Player Of The Year is in the last year of his contract, and the championship side are not ready to let him on a free come next summer.

QPR have resigned to cashing in on the Okija born forward instead of letting him go for free nothing next summer.

If Osayi leaves for Crystal Palace this summer, he’d be the second player from QPR to move to Palace this summer.

Crystal Palace have already aquired Eberechi Eze from QPR this summer who’s also Anglo Nigerian.

Osayi featured for QPR on 40 occasions, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in what served as a breakthrough season for him.

He’s eligible to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as he was born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents and he could also turn out for the Three Lions.
