Novak Djokovic has been fined $10,000 (about 8,500 euros) for his unsportsmanlike conduct at the US Open. According to the reports on Monday night.

The Serbian ATP number 1 in the world and three-time tournament winner (2011, 2015 and 2018) was disqualified on Sunday in the eighth finals of the US Open after he accidentally hit a ball full against a lines judge at the end of the first set against the Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta.

Earlier, the American Tennis Federation (USTA) announced that Djokovic will lose his prize money worth $250,000 (about 212,000 euros).
