Liverpool has reached an agreement with Wolves to sign winger Diogo Jota in a deal that could worth £35m.

The Merseyside side club has been fairly busy this summer in terms of transfer activities. Having concluded the signing of Spanish midfield mastero Thiago Alcantra from Bayern Munich in a deal that could be worth up to £25m, they are now closing on a deal to sign Portuguese winger Diogo Jota from fellow Premier league side Wolverhampton and has already agreed personal terms with the Portuguese.

The 23-year-old speed-star has been a key member of the Nuno Espirito Santon’s side since his move to Molenieux Stadium. He initially joined the club in August 2017 on a season long loan from Atletico Madrid before the deal was made permanent on January 30th 2018 for a fee of around €13m.

Jota has 22 goals and assists in 48 appearances for Wolves in all competitions last season and his impressive outing for Nuno’s side has caught the attentions of top clubs around Europe.

Talks has been underway between the player’s representative and that of the both clubs in the past few days as Jota is keen to a move to Anfield and the opportunity to play in UEFA champions league with Liverpool is too hard to turn down.

According to reports from @RomanoDimarzio the deal could be concluded as early as this weekend. The former FC Porto star will be Judgen Klopp’s third signing of the summer.
