English Premier League side has unveiled a stunning Portuguese national team look alike kit as their third jersey for the season.

The jersey unveiled today is exactly the same as the Selecao green color home kit.

Wolves have grown wild in a bit of a short space since returning back to the English top flight football in 2017/2018 season after winning the English Championship title.

The team had a stunning first season by finishing seventh. It was their highest finish in the league since 1979/1980 season when they finish in sixth place.

That position got them a Europa League qualification ticket, a first participation in Europe since 1980/1981 season, going all the way to the quarter-final before losing to eventual winners Sevilla.

The Nuno Espirito Santo side has been a thorn in the flesh of the traditional top six teams in the league.

Helped out by super agent Jorge Mendes, who brought in an array of Portuguese players after Chinese investment group Fosun International bought the club, Wolves was widely called Mendes FC by football fans because of that.

Presently, the team has 10 Portuguese players in their ranks, the highest nationality in the club.

The recent unveiling of a Portuguese look alike jersey might just be a way of saying Wolverhampton Wanderers is the second home of the players from Portugal.

From Wolverhampton Wanderers to Mendes FC, safe to call the team Portuguese FC.

Just like the Selecao won the Euro Championship in France in 2016 against all odds, could this jersey be a lucky charm for 143 year old club as they seek a first top flight trophy since winning the League Cup in the 1979/1980 season.

Welcome Portuguese FC.
