The Red devils are in contact with FC Porto left back Alex Telles over a move to Old Trafford.

Ole Gunna Solskjaer wants to add the Brazilian left back to his squad to provide a suitable competition for Luke Shaw. The 27-year-Old Brazilian born left back has been a consistent performer for FC Porto since he joined the club from Turkish giants Galatasaray in 2016 for a fee of €6.5m.

He has made over 126 appearances for Porto and scoring 19 goals in the process. He is a typical modern day left back who can join the attack at any given opportunity and is also very strong defensively.

It will cost United around €18m to get Telles from the Porto, and according to reports from @RomanoDimarzio the former Inter Milan man is keen on the move to Old Trafford and has informed FC Porto’s hierarchy to reach an agreement with Manchester United.

United suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace and are keen to strengthen their squad with new additions, having only signed Dutch midfielder Van De Beek so far this summer. Ole Gunna Solskjaer is reportedly willing to get a centre back, a right-winger and also a left back before the closure of transfer market.
