Borussia Dortmund head of licensed players department Sebastian Kehl has reiterated that Jadon Sancho will stay this summer despite ongoing speculation that Manchester United want to sign the 20-year-old.
The 20-year-old English forward have been strongly linked to Manchester United all through the summer.
The black and yellow side put a price tag of €120 million on the 20-year-old forward which “The Red Devils” haven’t been able to match up and it seems sure the English man will stay this season with the German side.
Kehl spoke to Ruhr Nachrichten (via goal.com), where he said “Jadon has trained well and professionally. He is happy to play football.
“Yes, someday he might leave for a new challenge but right now he is happy at Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Dortmund is happy to have him.
“He is here – and he will stay here. It was an important statement from the club because we have a certain responsibility. Without Jadon, this team is worse.”
Sancho has started both of Dortmund’s games (DFB Pokal and Bundesliga) so far this season, scoring once and making two assists.
