La Liga giants Barcelona have debunked rumours linking them with Chelsea’s defender Antonio Rudiger.

The German international has cut a frustrated figure at the Stamford Bridge and wants to leave the club but Barcelona are not looking towards his direction.

Frank Lampard has left the 27 year old out of his matchday squad for the last two games which is not a good one for his him considering the fact that he wants to represent the German national team at next year’s Euros.

His representatives are already looking for a club for him in other for him not to spend the season as Chelsea’s back up centre-half.

Rudiger joined the Blues in 2017 from Serie A side AS Roma for an initial £29m with £5m add ons.

2020 UCL runners up Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race for Rudiger’s signature considering the fact that their former captain Thiago Silva left the club this summer.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo have reported that Barcelona are not interested in bringing the 2017 FIFA Confederation Cup winner to the Camp Nou at the moment.

Manchester City’s 19-year old Eric Garcia is the Catalan based club’s sole target for a defensive reinforcement.

Barcelona have not made any move neither will they make in the coming weeks for Rudiger, as they’ve reiterated that he’s not on their radar despite the fact he’s available on the market.

The 31 cap German international is also attracting interest from his former club AS Roma and he has also been offered to AC Milan and Inter Milan in the Serie A.
