English Premier League side Chelsea are still willing to do business this summer despite spending big as Declan Rice agrees five-year deal.

The West London side have spent a whopping £230m on transfers already this summer, they signed the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Mallang Sar, Thiago Silva, Eduardo Mendy and Kai Havertz.

Daily Star reported that the Hammers skipper has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal with the Stamford Bridge lords.

West Ham United still hold onto their words, saying that Rice wouldn’t leave the London Stadium this summer. Rice’s five-year deal agreement with Chelsea points to the fact that he desperately wants to leave the Hammers.

The 21 year olds rumored move to Chelsea would be a good one for the young man given that the Hammers 2020/21 campaign has not kicked off on a positive note.

He’d offer the Blues stability in the middle of the park as Chelsea’s midfield lack an hardworking defensive midfielder, it’d also help Frank Lampard get an extra man both in defence and the middle.
