Gary Neville has slammed Mohamed Salah for being greedy and selfish to Liverpool new signing Diogo Jota.
Salah denied Diogo Jota his first Liverpool goal, though new signing scored a goal later in the game against Arsenal.
“That is the selfish part of his game” Neville said on Sky Sports.
“He’s thought, ‘you’re not having a goal already’ and taken it off of him. It was Jota’s ball.
“His greed is one of his great strengths but he should have left it for his mate. He was never going to get there.
“He [Jota] would have had a goal if it wasn’t for Salah. You can’t do that. As great a player as he is, he knows that’s not a great look.”
Liverpool defeated Arsenal b 3-1 in an outstanding and exceptional way.
Lacazete opened the scoring after an error from Andrew Robertson, but Sadio Mane brought the teams back on level terms two minutes later.
Liverpool second goal came from Andrew Robertson who found the back of the net courtesy of an Arnold assist, Liverpool third goal came from new signing Diego Jota in what was his premier league debut.
