Italian side Lazio have reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Andreas Pereira.

The 24-year-Old Belgium born midfielder who joined Manchester United in 2011 from PSV Eindhoven, linking up with the junior team of the red Devils after his arrival.

Pereira made his first Premier League appearance in March 2015, after spending time on loan with Granada in 2016 /2017 season where he made a total of 35 appearances and scoring 5 goals in the process. He also spent the 2017/2018 season on loan with another Spanish top division side Valencia and made 25 appearances for them and finding the back of the net on just one occasion.

He played international football for the youth teams of both the country of his birth, Belgium, and his father’s homeland, Brazil, before making his senior debut for Brazil in September 2018.

Pereira returned to The Old Trafford ahead of the 2018/2019 season and since then has failed to cement a regular first team opportunities and has been restricted to mostly substitute appearances. He has made a total of just 45 first team appearances for United since his move from PSV in 2011 and scoring only on two occasions.

The former Valencia man has therefore requested to leave the Manchester club this summer in other to find a regular playing opportunity elsewhere. According to reports from @RomanoDimarzio Manchester United has reached an agreement with Italian top division side Lazio for the transfer of the Brazilian international, He will join Lazio on an initial loan with an option to buy for a fee of €27m at the end of the loan period. He is set to have his medicals in Italy in the coming days.
