English Championship side Watford have announced the signing of Nigeria International defender William Troost Ekong.
Troost-Ekong spent the past two years in Italy with Udinese and made a total of 66 appearances for the Serie A side since his arrival from Turkish Süper Lig outfit Bursaspor in 2018.
Nigerian international defender William Troost-Ekong join on a permanent transfer signing a 5 year deal with the Hornets who was relegated from the English top-flight at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old centre-half, has won 42 caps for Nigeria and represented his country at the 2018 World Cup. Ekong will wear the number 5 Jersey for the English Championship side this season as they look to regain promotion to English top-flight next season.
