Super Eagles of Nigeria seems to have lost battle to persuade Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka to switch allegiance to join the National team.
Saka is one man that has always been tipped to switch allegiance to Nigeria, due to scintillating display with the Gunners. But the possibility of him joining Nigeria has been swept under the carpet.
Saka’s creativity has been one of the reason why the gunners are having a rollercoaster ride in the past couple of Months, winning the community shield and FA Cup trophy. He his averaging 25.56 passes per-game in the Premier.
Apart from Saka, Nigeria have been eyeing Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze.
England coach Gareth Southgate invited a couple of new faces in the squad as the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Harvey Barnes have been handed their first senior England call-ups, while Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden have been dropped due to misconduct while on National team duty.
