Manchester United have an greement to sign Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.

The 33-year-old striker will sign a two-year-deal with the Premier League giaqnt. The Uruguayan, who is a free agent haven’t left Paris Saint Germain at the end of last season after seven years at the club. Cavani became PSG’s all-time top scorer on 27 January 2018 with a goal in a 4–0 home win over Montpellier . He surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimović ‘s record with his 157th goal in his 229th match.

The experienced striker has also defended the colours of Napoli, having initially joined the club on loan from Palermo in 2010/2011 season making a total of 35 appearances and scoring 26 goals in his first season with the Naples. His move was made permanent ahead of 2011/2012 season and he went further to make 69 appearances and scoring 52 goals in the process between 2011-2013.

His impressive performance for Napoli earned him a big money move to Paris Saint Germain in 2013 for a fee of €64m signing a five years contract with the French Giants. The former Napoli striker has won a total of 116 caps for Uruguayan national team and scoring 50 goals in the process.

According to reports from @FabrizioRomano Manchester United has reached an agreement with representative of the experienced striker on a two years deal. The move is expected to be wrapped up before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

United are in the market for a centre forward and getting a player of Cavani’s calibre will be a big boost for the red Devils this season.
