All three have now struck 39 times in such games , Suarez was the first to equal the Brazil legend’s record thanks to a first-half penalty in a 2-1 win against Chile.
The Uruguayan former teammates Messi then matched the milestone in a similar fashion as he scored from the spot in a 1-0 win over Ecuador.
Generally, Messi have more goals than both Ronaldo and Suarez on the international stage with 71 senior goals to his name.
